Very pleased with the service received from West Country Blinds. Even though they hadn't been responsible for the original fitting, they were happy to come out to fix a problem with one of our electric blinds - Dean was very helpful, and was able to reset the blind motor - all working fine now, many thanks!

Closed on Saturday despite sign and website saying they are open.

I would recommend Westcountry Blinds to anyone who is thinking of having blinds fitted. From my initial contact via email to the guy who came and measured up to eventual fitting of the blinds had been nothing but 1st class. The finished look is better than I could of imagined. Dealing with AHM Designers made our ensuite bathroom renovation a prolonged nightmare! Our reno started at the beginning of January 2022 and was projected to last three weeks maximum. Our renovation contractor recommended AHM Designers for our vanities, linen tower and mirrors for our ensuite and adjoining bedroom area. All proceeded as scheduled and to our satisfaction until the AHM vanities, linen tower and mirrors arrived. The original pieces had MULTIPLE issues including defective paint work, chips in the finish, a scratch on one of the mirrors, misaligned/crooked vanity frame and missing pieces (vanity skirt, linen tower moulding and spacers). Our contractor returned the defective pieces at the beginning of February 2022. We were given a two week period for the new pieces. SIX WEEKS later, the second set of parts were delivered and most with similar imperfection issues such as the defective paint work. Again, we were told that AHM was committed to correcting this as soon as possible. One of the AHM representatives who came to the house promised to personally oversee the work. This did not happen. No one from AHM Designers initiated contact with us after the second installation in March 2022. We sent NUMEROUS EMAILS and made NUMEROUS CALLS to both our contractor and AHM Designers directly. After persistent calling on our part to AHM Designers the defective pieces were finally replaced at the end of June 2022. Our vanities, linen tower and mirrors are now installed. They are good enough but only because of our persistent insistence that the issues be corrected. There are still three drawer fronts with defective paint because these were never replaced even though they were supposed to be. Also, when the skirt on the ensuite vanity was installed, the installers forgot to remove a white supporting wood piece which was visible as the vanities are charcoal coloured. When the installers tried to remove the white piece, they damaged the skirt! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AHM Designers! In our experience, their workmanship does not reflect their statements in their brochures about quality and excellence. We did not experience that they cared about customer service and satisfaction with us. Our numerous calls were “heard” and, at the end, some attempt was made to correct the situation. I emailed the CEO directly but did not get a response. When we purchased our AHM Designers pieces, we were purchasing Canadian quality and excellence. As an analogy, we were purchasing a new car not a used car. We are not unreasonable to expect that the product be free of scratches, dents, imperfect paint and misaligned parts. It appears from other reviews that our experience has been shared by others. I hope that the company examines its practices and strives to practice what they preach.
